Ramona Bessinger, a 23 year veteran teacher in the Rhode Island School systems started questioning the Free books and literature that started showing up in the classrooms. The content was troubling to her and in her quest to expose this information received retribution from the school system while colleagues were silent. She continues to fight for Fact-based NOT Race-based American curriculum in the schools.
· Within the last 18 months, the entire school curriculum Ramona had been teaching changed. New curriculum included cartoon pamphlets depicting white people as buffoons and racist, promoted Critical Race Theory ideologies, distorted or lied about American history and many other concerning content.
· Children are being asked to fill out highly inappropriate surveys including surveys inquiring about their sexual history and conduct.
· Schools are now indoctrinating students with un-American principles, beliefs, and philosophy in our schools and in our children.
· She was reprimanded for teaching the Declaration of Independence to her students
· Ramona started raising concerns and began to get regularly disciplined for doing so and is now facing termination.

Gender Queer is one book that it is allowed in school libraries for children to read, but when excerpts were read and images shown during a school board meeting it was found too offensive for the school board meeting and the parents were asked to remove the content…. yet it is still allowed in our schools for children to read? The images are DISGUSTING AND NOT FIT FOR OUR CHILDREN OR SCHOOLS!!

· Children are taught that America was founded on racist principles and is inherently racist. Children also taught that one race is the oppressor and another race is oppressed

The parallel she sees happing right now in American and around the world as people are becoming accepting of socialism scares her. She brought a wonderful newspaper picture of her and her sister peaking out of the porthole window on the ship she traveled to American on as a child.
